Realtor Newsletters

Realtor news letters, do they work? I believe that the question should be a different question. I believe that the question should be, what are you using Realtor Newsletters for, is the real question.

Hi my name is James Michael Swartz, and I am a real estate broker in Scottsdale, Arizona. I am the owner/Designated Broker, for Az Realty Results L.L.C., located in Scottsdale.

I have been in the real estate business since 2004. I started my real estate career like most, without anything but a desire to help people buy and sell homes, and to make a great living in the process. I have had my ups and downs. There have been times that I made more in a month than most people make in a year. There have also been times when I did not close a sale that month.

I started in the real estate business without any background in sales, or any real real estate leads. I have tried everything that you can imagine to generate real estate leads. I have tried Realtor postcards, Realtor Newsletters, Expired Listing letters, Just Listed Postcards, Just Sold Postcards, Virtual Tours of homes, Direct Marketing Postcards, Call Capture Systems, Talking House, I have tried many if not most of the Realtor marketing tips, to find motivated buyers, and motivated sellers.

I have tried many companies that promised to create a fantastic Realtor Website for me, and they promised many Realtor tools that would get me buyer and seller leads. I have also done the Realtor Farming, where I picked an area, sent the Realtor Postcards, the Just Listed, Just Sold. I sent my Realtor farm all the active and sold listings in the area, on a monthly basis. I even walked the area, and knocked on every door. If they did not answer the door, I would leave a flier on the door.

Then I discovered that there was another way to generate business for myself. I discovered that there was another world on the internet, that was very eager to sell me information products that would promise to make me rich. I could work from anywhere in the world, as long as I had a computer, and an internet connection. I almost went that direction, until I discovered that the very same way that they were using to sell all the products that they were selling, would work for me to sell my real estate services.

I now have spend about 18 months learning all that I could learn, in 16-18 hour days, 7 days a week. I have figured out what it takes to create my own business on the internet. I am now at a point where I need to hire others to do different parts of what I know, to promote all the Realtor websites that I have created.

I decided the best way to do that would be to create a program, filled with step by step videos, where I show them on screen, as I describe what I am doing, exactly what is needed for them to do, so I can further promote my sits, and create new ones.

I have also decided to package that program and put it on the web, so other Realtors could learn what I know, in a fraction of the time it took me to learn it. This program gets right to the process of doing, and takes out all the trial and error, and the long learning process.

The bottom line is that Realtor Newsletters are a great Realtor tool for giving new, current, and past clients a way to receive new information form you, and for you to be perceived as keeping in touch with them. They will not do much for you in the way of new business, unless you are counting on them as a referral tool. Welcome to Web Real Estate Marketing. I am glad that you are here, and I believe that you will be glad that you have found this site as well. If you are looking for a way to grow your real estate business, than you are in the right place.

Web Real Estate Marketing is here for one main purpose, and that is to help you, the real estate professional, become less dependent on others for your presents on the internet. Web Real Estate Marketing, is here to help you start taking control of your real estate business, in what I believe is the most important part of lead generation, the internet.

I want to again welcome you to this site, and introduce myself. My name is James M Swartz, I am a real estate broker in Scottsdale, Arizona. I am the owner/broker for Az Realty Results L.L.C. I started my real estate career like most people do. I went to real estate school and took the required classes, passed the required tests, and got my sales license. I started my career with Keller Williams, and life was great. I told everyone that I knew I was in real estate.

I did as everyone told me to do, everywhere I went, I always tried to find a way to bring up real estate in the conversation, no matter where I was. It was a few months for me before I got my first deal, I was working a full time job at night, so I was able to be patient, and wait until I got my first deal. Eventually I got my first deal, and I was high on life.

Then I needed a real estate website, because everyone started to ask if I had one. Buyers wanted a place they could go to look for property. Sellers wanted a place to have their property displayed and marketed.

I started asking other agents, what company they were using to create their website. I also went to many real estate seminars, that promised to teach you how to get more business, and I would look at what they were selling. I also started checking out other Realtor websites, to see what they had, and who created it.

I have tried many different companies, and they all provided me a website. All the websites gave me the ability to tell my clients I had a website. The buyers had a place to search the MLS. The sellers had a place to go and see that I had their property displayed. The thing I discovered was that unless I told a client about my website, no one ever went. The website companies still made their money, every month, and I was getting no traffic.

Then I decided to try a company where you buy the real estate leads. This company, I won’t tell you the name, as I believe that they are all pretty similar, and I tried several, again took my money every month, and I received the leads. The leads were buyer and seller leads, and for the most part, I made more than I spent for the leads, but I still kept thinking that there has to be a better way to generate real estate leads.

I always believed that there was a way to generate my own buyer and seller leads. I figured that the companies I was buying the leads from were generating the leads, why could I not do the same.

Then I started checking with all the companies that said they would get me on page one of Google. There was a very big price difference between what companies would quote for the service of getting me on page one of Google. I knew there was no way I was going to pay the top price, and I figured the bottom price was a waste of time, so I went with several middle priced companies. They all did about the same thing. They took my money. Promised me the moon. They delivered much less and I was still stuck.

Stuck with a website that looked ok. Stuck with paying for services that I was suppose to be getting, and never did. I was really getting tired of the entire real estate up and down cycle of leads/business. It seemed like I had too much business at times, and other times I had no business.

The reason for the up and down cycle was pretty simple. When I had a lot of business, I worked the business. When I was working with the clients that I had, I was not looking for new clients. When I finished with the clients that I had, since I was not looking for new ones, I had no business. I would then go out and work hard at getting new business, until I did, and then the entire cycle would start again.

The leads that I was purchasing helped some, but they were for the most part, not really looking for help, and most times bothered that a Realtor was contacting them. Then I thought there must be another way to make money. Sales has been, and will always be the best way to make as much or as little money as you like, as long as you are willing to put in the effort.

Then I discovered that there was another world on the internet, and in that world, there were many, let’s call them, “internet marketing guru’s”, that promised I could make millions of dollars selling things on the internet. I could sell these items without leaving my home, and I could do it anywhere in the world, as long as I had a computer, and an internet connection.

Now, let’s fast forward about 18 months later, and here we are, with you reading this as I type it. I have learned a lot about the internet, internet marketing, and the education was both costly financially, and in my time being consumed in front of the computer day in and day out, 16-18 hrs a day, 7 days a week.

I learned how to make it to number one on Google, in the real estate market. I learned how to do everything that all the internet marketing guru’s were doing. I am using all that I learned in my own real estate practice, and I fired all the other companies that I was supporting. I fired the internet marketing companies that were making my websites, that were not being seen by anyone. I fired the lead generating companies that were enjoying their nice home on my pay, and now when I get a lead, they actually want to talk to me.

I am telling you all this because I want you to understand a few different things.
(First) I am doing this because I wish there would have been someone there, in the beginning of my real estate career, that was telling me, and teaching me, what I am doing for you.
(Second) I understand the real estate business, and the other companies out there do not, they really only understand how to take your money.
(Third) The amount of money I am charging for the different training packages that are available on this site, will not make me rich, Real Estate is my main business, and I do well at it.
Finally I know what it is like to be able to understand, and to create a website. I no longer have to rely on a third party to create my lead generating websites for me.
